INFOSONICS TO UNVEIL 2008 verykool(tm) LINE-UP OF MOBILE PHONES

SAN DIEGO, CA – February 5, 2008, InfoSonics Corporation (NASDAQ: IFON), one of the premier providers and distributors of wireless handsets and accessories serving Latin America and the United States, today announced it will introduce its planned 2008 verykool® line-up at the Mobile World Congress trade show (3GSM) in Barcelona, Spain taking place February 11 to 14, 2008.  The planned new line-up consists of three different advanced GSM technologies; GPRS (2G), EDGE (2.5G) and HSDPA (3G).

“The enhanced line-up of our proprietary line of verykool products reflects our continued work with our carrier customers and distributors and is designed to meet the end-user needs by incorporating some new and unique features into main stream mobile phone devices,” said Joseph Ram, President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoSonics  “These planned devices will feature, among others, high speed connectivity to the carrier networks, touch screen displays,  video players, high mega pixels cameras, e-mail access, PC Sync, expansion memory slots; and GSM tri-band or quad-band ‘world phone’ standards. The 3G phone will feature septa band (4 GSM bands and 3 UMTS bands). We continue to work with our carrier customers and distributors to develop new products to provide the technology and features to meet users’ desire and demand.”

Some of these products are in final testing stages, while others are in developmental stages.  As these new products begin shipping in the coming months, the company will continue to provide updates. The newly designed 2008 line-up of verykool® will features some unique design ideas targeted to the youth and the youth-minded public which has been the company’s target market since the inception of verykool®. The verykool® line-up will offer a robust features-set for each price segment. In addition, the company plans to revamp its verykool® website soon to display more information about the current and future product line-up as well as develop a verykool® community.
