The sleek GSM phone offers integrated VGA camera, dual color displays, 40 bit polyphonic ring tones, PC synchronization, predictive text input software and personal information management service (PIMS). InfoSonics and VK Mobile announced their exclusive distribution agreement for North, Central and South America on November 22, 2004 and this is the first model in the VK line to be introduced under this agreement.

The VK530 family consists of products that are tailored to the U.S. rural carriers and the Latin American carriers. The product is compatible with all GSM carriers and is available in two versions. The 850/1900 frequency, which is mainly used in the U.S. and Latin America, and the 900/1800 frequency which is used worldwide, will be offered throughout the Caribbean, Central America and in other countries’ markets where these frequencies are used. The 900/1800 European version is carried by Vodafone in the United Kingdom.
