INFOSONICS AND I-MATE™ ANNOUNCE DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT FOR NORTH AMERICA AND LATIN AMERICA

SAN DIEGO, CA, January 11 , 2005- InfoSonics Corporation (AMEX: IFO), one of the largest distributors of wireless handsets in the United States and Latin America, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to distribute i-mate™ cellular handsets in the United States, Latin America and Canada.  The i-mate™ group of companies is a developer and supplier of high-end Smartphones, specializing in the Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ operating system. These devices are sold under the i-mate™ brand and supported by related content and services.
