SAN DIEGO, CA, February 6, 2006 - InfoSonics Corporation (AMEX: IFO), one of the largest distributors of wireless handsets in the United States and Latin America, today announced that it has extended its exclusive distribution agreement with VK Mobile through April 2007. The original agreement which covers the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, has been expanded to include Canada to InfoSonics’ geographic territory. Pursuant to the agreement, InfoSonics will continue to distribute the current and new VK Mobile cellular phones and accessories in the territory.
“The extension of this exclusive arrangement with VK Mobile should enable us to build upon the initial success we have had in working very closely with VK’s management and executive team,” stated Joseph Ram, President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoSonics. “The initial VK products have been well received by the consumer both in United States and Latin America. Our plan for 2006 is to build upon our experience and expertise and to accelerate the introduction of new VK products including the newly acclaimed VK 200, in addition to several other products. The new product line features innovative designs, upgraded technology and attractive pricing. The plan is to place these new and exciting products with our current and potential new customer base throughout North America and Latin America.
